Analysis of LIC AAO Exam – English Language (Descriptive Test)

The LIC AAO Exam has a section for the English Language, which was of qualifying nature. The marks obtained in this section will not be considered for the merit list. 

The time allotted for this section is 30 minutes, and it carries a total of 25 marks. The minimum qualifying mark for this section is 10.

The English Language section of the LIC AAO Exam was divided into two parts – Letter Writing and Essay. 

Letter Writing –

1. You have taken a term life insurance and you wish to increase the limit, write a letter to request the same.
2. Write a letter to a newspaper editor explaining the importance of kitchen and terrace garden
3. Write a letter to the HR of the company which has floated a vacancy for which you wish to apply.

Essay –

The LIC AAO Exam is a highly competitive exam, and the English Language section is an important part of it.
